I have encountered one person who completely rid themselves until now of crack and heroin, so I guess itīs possible.

people usually take drugs to pacify/medicate some issue. once they make the connection between the issue and the addiction and deal with that,. they will no longer need the "drug"

You and your beastly character put the girl on crack.
Now she have you thusty for the gum, and you want her off the crack.
It don't work like that you have to give her something to live for.
Marry her and stop provoking Fleur.

Not in all cases. This chick was well adjusted but ended up hanging with people from work and had a moment of weakness one night and now is an addict.

She has long since stopped running with that crowd but she is still hooked.

Maybe she just appeared to be well adjusted and had some private problem most didnīt know about.

Doesnīt even matter now, I hope she gets over her addiction and to the rest of IMIX...SAY NO TO CRACK...and heroin, and meth and all these drugs that fack yuh up!

It doesn't seem like it's affecting you, based on an outsiders perspective, so you are at least functioning with it.
Is it a journey that has an end....or a continuous journey ie you will probably never one day say I am not an addict anymore?

alcoholism is a family thing.....it is not linked to problems...my ENTIRE family drinks...we drink just because, when we celebrate, there is always lots of liquor and things...it has nothing to do with medicating problems
