One of the passengers objected because she was singing off-key and fight bruk out.

Now the large fine has them off-set and they can only afford Chefette.

Three British nationals charged with disruptive behaviour onboard a Virgin Atlantic aircraft en route to Barbados were fined a total of Bds$22 500 yesterday and told they were lucky their birthday celebrations did not land them in jail.

Derek John Edmond, 76, his 46-year-old daughter Zoe King and 49-year-old son-in-law Martin King appeared before Magistrate Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell in the District F Magistrate’s Court after their celebration of Zoe’s birthday turned ugly and ended in a mid-air fight with a number of passengers.

The magistrate fined each $7 500 with the alternative of one month in prison. The fines were paid.
