The only gold medal Bolt would win is with the relay team... Blake is taking both the 100 & 200 metres...

VP, thanking you in advance for calling this out 2/3 years ago but you're not going to get any money from me...
Seven is the number of the natural world. There are 7 days in the week, 7 notes on the musical scale and 7 directions (left, right, up, down, forward, back and center). The Sages teach that seven are the attributes of physicality: Height, Width, Depth, Top and Bottom (limits height), Front and Back (limits width), Left and Right (limits depth), the connecting of the other six.

Wow, he looses one race and the whole world is on him. He's obviously trying to conserve his energy/fitness for London. Admittedly, he thought he had it in the bag then he realised Blake.

I want Asafa Powell to win. He's been out for too long.

Great race. Bolt looked terrible and still ran 9.86. About 5 weeks to go to fix any flaws. Last terrible race for bolt was 10.0 then he came back with 9.76.
This time he has a terrible race and comes back with 9.86. Following that pattern his next race will be fast.

    Im going
    1. Bolt
    2. Blake
    3. Gay

Athletes who had an aura of invincibility almost never react well to that first defeat.
It happened to Arsenal after the 49 match run.
It happened to Chelsea after the unbeaten home run.
    It happened to Tyson.
I think Ed Moses won a few after, but he came 3rd or 4th in the Olympics.
    Look at Serena and Federer.

When that day comes and you now know that you can lose, everything changes.
Look at the lane Blake was running. And I doh know if allyuh pretending not to see but Blake and Bolt had the same start. So yes as Apache says he had a bad start and still ran 9.86. But Blake had a mediocre start and ran a faster time.
The real danger now is that Bolt won't get his preferred lane placement. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

meanwhile i'm not hearing anything about Gay at all. The last time i saw him a couple months ago he looked very good.

Bolt had a horrible start in that race and had to come from wayyy back.

He's still the one to beat.

How yuh mean, Gay was fantastic at the trials.
Boldon thinks he has a 9.75 in him.

I haven't been following the trials but the last time i saw him he looked great (Gay)....and if he maintained that form he is definitely a threat to beat Bolt.

Justin Gatlin is the main threat from the Americas. At the trials the look on Tyson Gay's face, told the whole story..well and truly beaten.

Hmm...I keep my eyes peeled but I think Gay is the one to fear or maybe that light skin man - sorry, I forget his name.

You are forgiven for forgetting Asafa Powell.

Bolt just wanted to qualify, clearly. Then again Blake did reduce Walter Dix to tears on when he ran 19:26 for the 200m last year.

My prediction is Bolt and Jeter will win their 100m races..

I think this year Olympic sprints and relays will be similar to last year World Champs, seeing America winning the most gold medals.
