    Black Women and Weave...

Why the obsession though. The kinky/curly/wavy/hard textured hair isn't good enough???

i'm not making any suggestions,, i'm just asking why is there an obsession with wearing weave as opposed to rocking ur natural style.... i know a few who i've NEVER seen what their natural hair looks like because every month it's a new weave. some even go to the point of not getting out the house if their weave isnt done or their tracks are coming out...

Cause everyone wants a different look. Most people at one point wanted longer hair it seemed. That is cooling off now. The rest of what you said is a different topic of people who dont keep it up.

Not all men LOVEEE the short haircut on women u know..

How could a movie be representative of every person? A movie that had already drawn its conclusions and went out the prove them. That's not very sound basis to extrapolate stuff onto millions of people.

I felt the same way, that's why I never saw it until a couple weeks ago. But it put EVERYTHING about that into perspective. It's a documentary and shows how very sad the whole weave thing is really...IMO
