Why would I know or have a reason to want to know your mother? I don't even know you. So it does not really matter at the end of the day. Sometimes peope act out for a variety of reasons.

LOL You are in denial go back and re-read what I stated. Not every state and city the people have bitter attitudes like in BK. A lot of West Indians are great at blending into an AA environment.

Infact one of my AA male friend's who has a PHD from Yale is now married to one of my HS Trini girlfriends for over 12yrs now. He stole my phonebook then wrote/called her in Trinidad. After just seeing her pictures in my photo album. I have endless crazy stories of AA friends who willing to marry a chick from the islands in a heart beat.lol

Where did you grew up?

You still don't get it, you are making points that are pointless to this discussion. The point is there are enough Caribbean communities where AAs and Caribbean people interact enough to form an opinion about each. I you live in a certain state or city then your experience will be different. Two videos were posted showing AAs talking about people from the west Indies, so where did they get those misguided views from.

My point is if I was to take half the ignorant stuff I read on imix personally I would probably also hate all AA and WI's.lol Lucky for me I have good experiences with AA in the real world. But I have an American and Trini passport. So sometimes I have twice the amount of attitude than the average.lol Most educated and well travelled people are often very open to learning about different cultures.

You still don't get it..continue living in ur little Caribbean community bubble..what do you mean by their are enough Caribbean communities in America ? LOL.. How many caribbean communities do you think there are in America ?..If you did your research like i tad you then you will know there is very few..your argument is weak. You want to believe there is Carib influence everywhere but there is not. hence why a lot of americans don't even know who or what is west indian..

However in in every city, even in some suburbs you will find towns ( and hoods) with strong african american demographics. Therefore your pint of Caribbeans interacting with african americans is not strong. You are speaking from your New York perspective not american perspective. There are many Blacks in Cali, Texas, Chicago (to name a few) who probably met just ONE Caribbean person in their LIFE..due to the fact Caribbean migration in those places are very small..Think outside your little Caribbean community bubble..and this is why this thread by a west indians is so COMICAL because the west indians want rivalry with African americans and the average african american don't even consider them a hot topic..
