 : yeah...the house is one of the key landmarks in kingston built by Jamaica's first black millionaire George Stiebel in 1818...who's mother was a black housekeeper and father was a Jew...there are alot of parallels in the video...Story_Of_Devon_House_pg11 If you take a tour of the house...the layout has been preserved exactly to reflect the colonial style of living of the early 19th century |

Apparently after the Steibels died, many whites who moved into the house afterward didn't realise it was built and owned by a black man...many maids and yard boys who worked there didn't know either...She's essentially telling the field slave greater will come.... I suspect the story will continue in her next video...that's how many of the artists do it back home...the wait can be frustrating I hope kids back home are talking about it..... |

:...it's a very nice video...the grounds of Devon House are breathtaking...many couples take wedding pics there...If anything the video emphasises how one event (a black maid and a jew) can radically change the platform of blacks....Thanks for posting  |
