    Black Girl Lost

I forgot about this record. Nas was brilliant. Keep in mind that he was young when he recorded this.

Nasir in my opinion could have been the greatest rapper of all time but sadly he dumbed down after It Was Written...
Seven is the number of the natural world. There are 7 days in the week, 7 notes on the musical scale and 7 directions (left, right, up, down, forward, back and center). The Sages teach that seven are the attributes of physicality: Height, Width, Depth, Top and Bottom (limits height), Front and Back (limits width), Left and Right (limits depth), the connecting of the other six.

He should have just stop making music after those two albums. He already deemed himself one of the greatest after he released Illmatic.

James Joyce was 24 when he wrote Dubliners and didn't need to write another book after that. He's one of the greatest writers of all time.

what that have to do with him being a lyricist, , nas is a great , but he is different(some might say strange), the things that move ole man jigga doesnt really move him, he aint with that commercial rap ish, even though throughout the years he tried to make the lables happy and do some

he was offered def jam presidency, and he declined
offered tons of deals to promote things and he declined, dude is comfortable in his own skin

Had to, in fact every lyrical rapper has to dump it down for their audience
