I need to get that dontdatehimgirl.com thread out of my mind. I saw this thread and automatically thought you were bigging up Quest on making it on the site.

You of all people know how much I LOVE Marvin Gaye. What you trying to do to me while I'm at work?

    Amen to this thread D.J.,

Remember the song "After the Dance". My girlfriend is 25 and I played the CD for her. She was like: "Who on earth is this singing?" She was floored, she's kinda young and ehn grow up in that era, so I have to "teach" her. She'd never heard this song before, and I ehn getting that CD back either.

Marvin is on DerMonger's no-burn list by the way!

My non-love songs list has to include "Make me wanna Holler" & "God is Love".

Make me wanna Holler is in my mind the first song that leads me to believe he was suicidal. That song is DARK. Scary and chilling. He sounds deeply depressed, bwoy if you've had money problems, you can surely relate to this song.

Fortunately on the same album "God is Love" is the next track which sounds like a gospel song.
