    Totally agree with this TAJ. If a bi-racial person wants to be called white I would give them that courtesy and respect their choice. Its really not an issue for me.

    Only if you consider yourself the "lower" race. I give the people the benefit of the doubt. Some of these people were brought up by their white parent and feel that they should include them in a description of themselves. They don't want to come off as betraying their white mother or father who they are extremely close to. Makes sense to me. I say let them be called what they want to be called.
