In my opinion Pan-Africanism is the concept of understanding how People of the African Diaspora are still truely connected and how we can stil overcome our circumstances if we unite and support on another. This is why you don't hear much about African descendants doing business with Continental Africa because there's immense power which comes in that information for our children, our youth, and even out businessmen/women who are stuck in the concept of thinking that only way to make money is here in the United States.

Pan-Africanism is the cross pollenation of cultural identities (through business, spirituality, politics, entertainment, etc.) of Africa and all of her children across and around the globe.

What does it mean to be Afrikan-Centered?

    Depends on whom you ask

    Do you consider yourself Afrikan-Centered?

    Yes

Kevin, what's your definition of being Afrikan-Centered?

Jason, it doesn't seem to be working.

Being African-Centered means (IMO) is to be focused and centered on bringing african culture and tradition into housholds that exist outside of the continent. This can be anything from art to culture to traditional beliefs.

However, I'll take it a step further by saying that one has to also be able to understand the history of the continent and by doing so, understand how you as an individual can give back to a place that has been pillaged for eons.

Most people think that if you put on some african-clothing by itself, that you're an afriocentric individual, but it's not just that though. One has to open themselves up the the culture and the history before you can consider oneself African-Centered or Afrocentric.

    Rory,

The autostart code has to be inserted after the wma and the ending bracket. See below:
