You see this is why all these guys end up nowhere. Absolutely NO BUSINESS sense and then wanna get mad at Jay-Z for not continuing to follow a "hood" mentality. I keep telling people all the time a hood mentality will only get you so far, at some point you gotta elevate your thinking. No one told Beans to get locked up. |

threw away his career how so? going to jail? bottomline, we know artist don't make the bulk of their icome from record sales.... it's from shows/appearances/endorsements. But, your not doing any of the above if you're in jail....and, you are not doing any of thee above if you don't have any current music out. You don't put my music out or promote it right. You kill or diminish my oppotunity to make the bulk of my income. also, as far as the two Bentleys/living above your means...which Jay try to state. Isn't apart of the Rap image/product/marketing is to glorify what you have or seek. That's been the basic subject point, from it's inception. How many cars you have, how many women you get, How big your house is. Let's not forget, a basic formula of success in Rap is to fake it to you make it. the public loves the underdog, rising on top theme. We love the whole, last year you was pushing a ford taurus, and now you pushing a Ferrari. I find a lot thisngs bean said in the interview to be legitimate points, like ..."hey if you want to move on to another level, that's fine....but don't stop me from eating." Also , Jay said in the clip above, how beans had all these business ventures. Which beans refuted as not being true, cuz they were shams'. They were using beans popularity to market they own business. They were shaming him believe he had a business, when he was really just endorsing their business. I can't wrong Beans for feeling like Jay, could have handle things like a man and say.."heres the deal" and not b1tch out. If you have nothing to hide or feel guilty over, why you can talk to me straight on the phone. Why have to talk to ur assistants, whey you having me escorted out of events by feds & police?

that's true.... cuz, look at Jaz-O. He brought Jay into the game, and he is disgruntled. Look at duhaney, who brought jay into the drug game....who gave him the material to sell many albums with.
