I was wondering the same thing...then there's Cheryl Hackett and Norma Stoute..so many names.....but who would collect the award(s) on their behalf? As for the living, we cyan leff out Clarence Thompson...since he came back, chap's had a hard time gettin a pick, which is just plain wrong. Oh well, at least "Fowl" get a break.

It is NICE to see a VINCY, Tony 'Rebel' Bailey', saving FACE for Krosfyah.

    Mudderwuk!!
    Anyway....

Congratulations to one of my best friends in the whole world!

For this, and all your accomplishments over the last year.

I know I'll get my head bite off for this but some a dis stuff I reading is some real SHIT!!

First off I'm sorry I like Rhianna and wish her the best in her career but how is a 17 year old child gonna take 8 facking awards at an award show!?!?!?!

To me this is a blatant attempt to ass kiss to the American Media or to reward american success!! I mean really the lil girl had a nice chune and probably has a big career AHEAD of her, but she nah reach dey yet!

Alison get 1 award for best r&b single!??!?!? Since when "Roll" tun R&B!?!?!?!? I don't understand that classification...again who they trying to impress or attract with that categorization?

And for Edwin to get NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! again day nah mek no sense AT ALL!!!!

    Steups.....

Yes, RESPEK to the Mr. Tony 'Rebel' Bailey of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for WINNING the RAGGA SOCA award.

The VINCY is the only link to Krosfyah WINNING a MAJOR award on BARBADOS FIRST Music award show.

Imagine Barbados first MUSIC AWARD and EDWIN YEARWOOD did not win an INDIVIDUAL award.

    Something nuh right dey!

Anyhow, BIG UP to de VINCY Tony "REBEL" Bailey.

Well, it is not the SAME.

Band of the YEAR goes to EVERYONE in the BAND, so TECHNICALLY the VINCY Tony "Rebel "Bailey won two AWARDS in EDWIN'S BACKYARD.

But MOST IMPORTANTLY (some will say SHOCKINGLY), Edwin GOT BLANK in the INDIVIDUAL AWARD categories.

Maybe Edwin's BETTER DAYS are behind him.

He had a GOOD thing going, but it is probably time for OTHERS to take the LIMELIGHT away from him???

But I find that QUITE UNFORTUNATE that on BARBADOS BIGGEST NIGHT, MUSICALLY, the SOUL of BAJAN MUSIC, Mr. Edwin Yearwood, the MAN who put BIM on the MAP (BAJAN INVASION) could not win an INDIVIDUAL award.

Ah so it go sometimes...but THANKS to Tony 'Rebel' Bailey from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as a CONSOLATION to Edwin and Krosfyah, he brought home the BACON by winning the RAGGA SOCA award.

The UNIQUE thing about winning that award in Barbados, it so happens to be VINCY ARTISTS, at home, BIGGEST strength when dealing with the soca GENRE.

    Quite interest.

PS: CONGRATULATIONS to BARBADOS....it SEEMS like the SHOW was QUITE SUCCESSFUL.
