I wonder what he is saying now that someone of that "calibre" won the GOLD.

He said he had no "business" being that close - if that aint disrespectful then i aint know what is. Everyone trains hard and has some right to win.

Caribbean people are their worse critics.

    Braithwaite in yuh!

Do all trinis pronounce the name BRAYthwaite? Please inform me.

Anyways Ato always seem to second guess caribbean athletes..... maybe it's because he was always smelling Maurice Greene's fart.

no, i myself knew that if robles were in the race, he would won the gold. and i knew ryan would come second. in this case, he won the gold without his biggest rival in the race. and i am happy.

i didnt see it as disrespectful. if usain and a bajan run in the 100 in the next olympics, wont u assume that usain would win? and wat if the bajan wins?

i expected robles to win if he were in the race. i expected ryan to come second to robles.

boy you is one piece ah c*nt yuh know. the thing is to give the athletes the support. comments such as yours above are typical of how we caribbean people think. I say give the athletes 100% support whether you "know" they will win or not. Remember you can only if you think you can.

robles wins everything at 110 meter hurdles, so if a person who wasnt in the picture comes close to him in a race with no prior racing history, then there is nothing wrong with the statement

people here are reaching when there isnt everything there
