IC.. Well I am excited to hear this.

Aasfa Will must now change his BENZ Lic # to '9.74WR'!

Yes, the man berak the record again and seems as if he was just jogging the lasr 30m! Today in Italy. Ah boy.

ps: The 'new topic' tab did not come up in the Misc section, hence my reason for posting here.

Interestingly enough his reaction time was by far the best... it may be that all the man needs is a really good reaction time to break it again!

A"fas"a is a beast....just needs to overcome the BIG race.

    Fastest No More

Asafa Powell's record-setting run in the 100 meters took the title of world's fastest man away from his co-record holder Justin Gatlin. Here's a look at the evolution of the world's fastest man title in recent years.

    Code:
    Runner Time Date
    Asafa Powell 9.74 9/9/07
    Asafa Powell 9.77 8/18/06
    Asafa Powell 9.77 6/11/06
    Justin Gatlin 9.77 5/12/06 *
    Asafa Powell 9.77 6/14/06
    Tim Montgomery 9.78 9/14/02 **
    Maurice Greene 9.79 6/16/99
    * Gatlin has been banned for up to eight years, pending the result of an arbitration hearing, after testing positive for testosterone in April 2006.
** Time erased by IAAF in 2005 after Montgomery was banned for two years for taking banned drugs.

jamaicas coaching program is all facked up. they got Asafa running great times when it doesnt matter. they got the top 2 talented sprinters in the world and still cant beat the us in the 4x100.

BIG UP ASAFA still.....when you come to the USA you will lower the record to 9.69 and WIN a major championship
