Anyone Need a JOB?
Status: Full Time, Part Time, Employee
Job Location: New York/New Jersey Metro Area The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is a bi-state agency responsible for providing transportation services for world-class airports, marine terminals, bridges, tunnels, rail and bus terminals. We have the following Part-Time employment opportunities available and some Full-Time positions may also be opening at our Bridges and Tunnels: TOLL COLLECTORS In this position, candidates must be prepared to collect tolls at any of our facilities including the George Washington Bridge, the Staten Island Bridges, Holland or Lincoln Tunnels. This position requires selected candidates to work on rotating shifts and on weekends and holidays. Part-time Toll collectors work an average of not more than twenty-eight (28) hours per week nor less than sixteen (16) hours per week. Tours will consist of a minimum of four (4) and a maximum of eight (8) hours. Part-time Toll Collectors are assigned to the day or afternoon shifts. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with demonstrated customer service experience. Previous experience handling money is preferred. Toll collecting experience is not necessary.
