Another rat on the train - Now this is a more realistic reaction

the healthy man does not torture others - generally it is the tortured who turn into torturers.

Yep...they expect an increase in this I am hearing.

Wonder why you are seeing rats not only in the subway stations, but actually on the cars?

One reason is the New York City Health Department does not only inspect restaurants where humans eat. It also has inspected what it calls restaurants for rats.

These "restaurants" are station refuse storage rooms that a joint Health/MTA study last year named the favorite dining spots for rats in the subway.

    ZARAT-rated!

Entire families of rats were found to have taken up residence in the cinder blocks of the surrounding walls, just wiggling to eat whenever they were so inclined.

"They're not down in that deep, dark tunnel," Health Department rodentologist Robert Corrigan said at the release of the 2010 report. "The rats are living in the walls behind that tile."

The Transit Authority says that budgetary restraints have prevented it from sealing off the refuse rooms, but it has begun targeting the rats with poison.

That apparently has encouraged rats to find less- toxic places to feed, and discarded food on the tracks and platforms must not be not enough.
