    Announcing new pregnancy

i don't understand why someone would want to tell de world dat deh pregnant at 3 weeks. i just get an email from a family member dat deh 3 weeks pregnant. now i'm happy for them b/c deh had trouble conceiving but isn't 3 weeks too premature to be telling everybody? i look at the distribution list de email went out to and one set a people deh send it to. if u just gonna tell a select few fine, but tellin everybody when you're only 3 weeks is stupid. she even send a caricature picture with a big belly...steeeups.

my coworker here is 6wks.... done told the whole company. now she's keeping us updated about her doctor's appts, etc.

I thought you were supposed to wait at least after the first trimester.
At my old job, I didn't tell anyone until I almost started to show.
Nowadays it's ok to tell people as soon as you missed your period. like you said, god forbid if anything should happen.

what is to be will be yes. i dont believe in the whole blight thing. if for whatever reason the child is unable to be brought into this world then i dont see how its going to affect those that know. shoot u can go full term and then end up having a still born or the baby born fine then takes a turn for the worst. i say be happy and excited while u can.

i eh worried about the people you tell... but if something happens then it has got to be hard to explain to each and every person what happened. the further along you are the better the chances are of carrying full term especially if you're a person that has had problems conceiving.

    Talking

ive had a sistren that has lost 4 babies, 2 in the last month of the second trimester, 1 early third and one was a stillborn, anytime someone mentions " aye girl how are the kiddies" she does say "I was ready but they wasn't" Last year she finally had a lil boy.

anyways my point is stop being miserable DT be happy for the girl and wish her the best.
