For all the attention generated by the cancellations of Fox’s “24” and NBC’s “Law & Order,” the final episodes of these shows were no match in the ratings for Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars.” The conclusion of “24” drew 8.9 million viewers from 8 to 10 p.m. The last episode of “Law & Order” attracted 7.6 million people. But ABC won the night as the “Dancing” contestants Erin Andrews, Evan Lysacek and Nicole Scherzinger performed their final routines and 19.1 million viewers watched. The season debut of “The Bachelorette” that followed averaged 9.2 million viewers. CBS was second for the night with the finales of its sitcoms “Two and a Half Men” (15.4 million) and “The Big Bang Theory” (14.8 million), followed by “CSI: Miami” at 10 (12.4 million).

Green Planet and Discovery are well cool stations too.

I shouldnt talk really cause I watch HGTV and the Food Network the most.

When it comes to TV shows few are quirky enough to hold my attention but those reality shows just blow.........

The travel channel is cool too...
Food Network is ok... Is that the one where they have that show man verses food? I hate that show... That kind of gluttony is disgusting... its wasting food even though all of it is being consumed.

u know I have never watched the man vs food show. Ever! That kind of stuff bores me and yeah the level of gluttony is sickening.

I am a big Top Chef fan and I like shows that mix food and culture together like Travels with Jamie, Spain - On the Road again; David Rocco's Dolce Vita (love his rustic n simple cookbooks) and others like that.

Good Eats is a cool program to cause it delves into the science of food, if such things tweak your interest.

Straight cooking shows are a bit boring. They are about personality cults more than anything. But the ones that blend culture and environment, are fantastic to me.

I just downloaded Expedition Africa yesterday to watch at my leisure but otherwise I dont get a chance to check out the Travel Channel too often
