Nothing new: most major cities have incidents when people get together, specially if you unintentionally invite a target to your cookout. That's why I keep telling people who talk nonsense about the BLM movement, if you're a target a shooter/killer don't give a damn about Black Lives Matter - all he knows is "I want my target dead" and if you're in the way (black, white, brown or yellow) you become collateral damage.

5 Shot During Baltimore Cookout; Suspect Sought & 2 Victims Arrested

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Memorial Day cookout turned tragic in north Baltimore: five people shot in a drive-by shooting! Now people are trying to hunt down the gunman.

Meghan McCorkell has more on the search.

Investigators say one of those victims was treated and released at the hospital—and, moments later, was found in the same area with a loaded handgun.

They’d gathered on the sidewalk for a holiday cookout. Instead, people were left running for their lives.

“I could hear a whole bunch of hollering, like `Call the police! Call the police!'” said one neighbor.

Investigators say someone drove up and opened fire at a home on E. 43rd Street, sending bullets flying into five people just after three p.m. Monday afternoon. Witnesses say they heard at least half a dozen gunshots.

“It was actually really loud. I came to the door. I was really scared. I ran back and I just dialed 911,” a neighbor said.

“Shooting. Just occurred. Anonymous caller says at least three subjects have been shot at that location,” a radio dispatch said.

When officers arrived on scene, they found four people shot, including a 30-year-old hit multiple times. Investigators believe he was the intended target.

A fifth victim was found a few blocks away.

Neighbors tell WJZ that moments after the gunshots were fired, they saw a van quickly flying backwards down the street.

“You had people out here with no regard,” said Det. Donny Moses. “It’s quite disturbing. Not just on a police level, but just on a humanity level.”

Neighbors say they’re sick of the violence there.

“It always happens. Around this whole area, though. It always happens,” one said.

That’s why police want someone to come forward.

“It’s a very warm day. There was a lot of people out here. We know people saw something,” Moses said.

Someone who could help track down a gunman.

Investigators say one of the other victims was arrested for drug possession.

The other people injured include a 56-year-old man, his 60-year-old wife and two men in their twenties. All are expected to survive.

hmm it was relatively quiet on my side.
I suspect had to do with the little shower of blessings we got from above.

I honestly hate being in an urban area for the summer. Too many angry people outta door.
