Tany St. Val is another one of my faves. I first started listening to her back in the early 90's when she came out with the album entitled "Chale'" . That track itself was hot. Then in 1998 she performed at the World Creole Music Festival in Dominica......I've been a fan of her work ever since. She has excellent vocal range and she mixes zouk with african rhythms giving it a unique sound.

    Popular hits include:
    Chale
    Tamboo
Bougie Zouk (one of my favourite tracks)
    Anmwe
    Missie' Pierro

Kaysha (ma booby) is sometimes called the Diddy of Zouk....he produces and has worked with most Zouk artists. He has his own label called "Sushiraw Music" and has the following artists on his label:
    SOUMIA
    ELIZIO
    ABEGE
    LOONY JOHNSON
    THAY
    ANOFELA
    SK
    YZAH
He also has the "Sushiraw" clothing line. He actually raps on Zouk and Soukous beats. I first got turned on to him when he came out with the track "bounce baby" on one of Kassav's riddims. Performed with him in SM in 2001....been a fan since. It was an instant hit since everybody knew that riddim.

    other hits include:
    Kinshasa boy
    Kaysha on dit quoi
all the names not coming to me now but check him out here:

oh I love Zouk Machine and Francky....I think Zouk Machine is now defunct though. And you talking about Edith Lefel...yea she's good too. I'll post something about her soon and Sonia Derison, Lynsha and Soumia.

And yes Ban Biyo does Cadence.....which is music of Dominica
