    Wanito is quite popular in Haiti. All the young kids know his songs. He's a talented guy. I like his voice. He reminds me of Belo. Actually I wouldn't mind hearing them do a song. He's on Carimi's new album too.

    I like the fact that there are so many different types of musicians and musics in Haiti. Not everyone has to sing konpa to be noticed. I'm not a fan of rap music at all but the other day I listen to some of Izolan music and to me it flows well.

    I find that Wanito's music and song are more "cheerful" than Belo's. I think it's a personality thing. Wanito seems very engaging even when he is only playing and not singing.
