    Unidentified Zouk song

    Hi,

I don't speak good patois but I lived in Dominica for many years. Back in Ireland now and kind of out of contact.

I heard a great Zouk song today by accident and was wondering if anyone could identify it?

Pretty fast with a female singer, very sweet voice. It starts off with 'Aye Aye Aye, Aye Aye, Aye, Aye Aye Aye' a few times repeated. Then 'Awa' a few times, which in Dominca means 'not at all', then she sings ..ki sa, ki sa in the next chorus.

I know I am being very vague here but can anyone throw me a bone?

    Thanks,

    Adam.

I have this song now as a Windows Media File. Would anyone be willing to identify the artist for me if I emailed it to them? Please PM me if you are willing. I promise I am not spamming people. Would just love to know who the brilliant artist is. Thanks, Adam.

Yeah, she's great. I have been at every festival from 2000 to 2008 apart from one somewhere in the middle. Hope to get there again this year!

Although the biggest night (and crowd) of the year for me in Dominica has to be the Calypso final night during Carnival - amazing atmosphere!

She's come to Haiti a few times. They seem to love her. Her voice is weird to me though.
