Great post! I've never seen a video of the rumba box (marimbula, mbira) in Haitian music. Of course, it's used in mento, Afro Cuban rumba, and I have some Guyanese folk recordings that utilizes it. The women are sweet too, gotta love Black women.

Its in our local music as well .... you will more get it independence celebrations in some of its purests froms...
