Unhappy please, please, PLEASE help me find this Zouk song!!!

Hi everyone!

a friend of my dad made this zouk compilation cassette and i've been on a mission to find all the songs on there. I managed to find all of them except the last song. He remixed the songs together so it's only a small clip. My creole isn't the greatest but from what I can make from it the lyrics are something like:

"mwen ka songe bon moment que nous passe ensemble,"
and the rest goes something like:

(female voice): wey doudou
(male voice): se vous mwen vle
(fv):wey doudou
(mv): pou toute la vie
(fv): wey doudou
(mv):si ou lisse mwen...doudou douce...comme siwomyel...on nous renmen
nous

This is the link to download the clip: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

it sounds like a mixture of zouk/kompas but considering that he made a zouk mixtape, i'm assuming it's a zouk artist. i would appreciate it if you guys could at least speculate who it sounds like. anything is better than nothing. Thanks!

The song's at the wrong speed, must be an old tape. It sounds like Eric Virgal to me, I'm going through my collection.

Could be tony chasseur or even franky vincent. I know I've heard it before.

Ok, this song is older than I thought. It's from 1988, long before I started buying mizik. But going back and listening to some of my retro zouk CDs made me appreciate some of the zouk love songs more. Back then, i just wanted to hear the hardcore stuff.

Here are two song from the CD ripped at 320 vbr

Seawall! You are god sent! thank you sooooo much for helping me find the artist and sending me the song! Man, I don't think I'd ever find the song. His stuff sound like kompa. I know the genres are related but man does the first one sound like kompa.

Yes, the tape is very old. The speed, in fact, was off. But thanks a lot!

And thanks Anakonda for the effort of finding it for me.

Glad to help. Here's some more info on Parole; "Band led by Guadeloupian guitarist Patrick Parole, who plays strongly in the Haitian mini-jazz-band guitar style. Because of this, Batako records continue to be among the more Haitian-sounding and thus stand apart from formula zouk efforts. ~ Gene Scaramuzzo, All Music Guide"

And thank you.

The man is still around, bana. He probably got pushed aside due to all of the pretty faces that have dominated zouk for the last decade. However, old style cadance and konpa have been making a comeback. Here's a link to a 2006 CD by him. In France, they have access to all of the new music coming out of the French Antilles and Central & West Africa. And the euro buys more too. I can only look and drool.
