Los Diplomaticos De Haiti
Very old group, well before my time. They are or were a Haitian group based in the Dominican Republic. Well, they say that kompa came from merengue (and the DR merengue came from Haiti). Whatever the case, this is some merengue, or comparengue that I can listen to.
