There is a company that i know of that has openings right now. It didn't work out for me because i just CANNOT sit in front of the computer all day. But if anyone is interested right now PM and i'll send you a link. They have openings doing customer service for some major companies.

I'm looking for something to work at home. I usually have to sit in front of the computer anyway. Plus I want to go back to school.

Well I used to work from home providing technical support. I enjoyed it.

    Pros:
    1) Convenience of not having to deal with the hustle and bustle of the commute.

    2) Ability to utilize RDP (Remote desktop protocol) to connect to machines experiencing issues.

    Cons
    1) If the WAN (wide area network) or LAN (local area network) does not allow you to connect to the clients that pretty much kills your desire to do a honest days work.

    2) You won't be surrounded by your colleagues. Having this means you can get up from your desk in the office and walk over to them when you need certain kind of help or advice. Depending on the technology you have you might have to heavily rely on emailing and calling them to communicate if you need help. Depending on when you are able to reach them you won't get the help needed quickly.

Recommendations: Dress in work attire (semi business). Work from a desk or table. Don't give in to distractions. All this will keep you focused on the work needed to be completed.

I realise the whole freelance thing isn't very popular in the Caribbean. It should be.

Lost of sites - e.g. odesk, freelancer etc give people a wide range of areas to work in. And can be done from literally anywhere in the world
