We are currently searching for an energetic and highly motivated employee with a merchandising, product development or footwear design background to work with our Etienne Aigner product development team and learn the business. In this crucial role, you will assist the development team throughout the seasonal process by entering product specifications into our data tracking system, creating line sheets for shoe shows, and managing the sampling process, as well as our footwear and leather library. You will partner and communicate with our international product teams in three countries. You will also create trend boards, research fashion sources, and assist with sales meetings and market presentations. This role requires someone who thrives when working in a fast paced environment, works well with constant change, has Photoshop and Illustrator technical skills and can sketch. Position Accountabilities
Assures coordination and distribution of line, ad and confirmation samples, and maintenance of sample room.
Assures execution of design and development processes to assist in achieving speed to market.
Assures creation and distribution of line sheets.
Assures development of line-building skills through shopping, research, participation in line development, development of CAD skills and completion of assigned projects or training.

Position Essential Functions
Create product sketches and graphic illustrations of the line using applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Work with the development team throughout the development process, and communicate with sourcing countries on an on-going basis to advise of product changes/additional needs in trials, samples, development and production shoes; pricing issues; material and finishing problems; and quality issues.
Enter product specifications into FlexPLM in a timely and accurate manner.
Create and maintain line sheets used for shoe shows and other presentations.
Work with overseas offices to coordinate sample shipping, staying abreast of any changes that will affect or delay sample delivery. Advise sales team of changes.
Assist with preparation for shoe shows and customer presentations, including assuring that key samples and line sheets are available.
Photographing originals/adopted styles/customer samples and organizing on a spreadsheet format.
Maintaining a sample log for customer sample requests and samples sent to customers for early approval.

Position Specifications
Educational Preference: Degree in Design or Merchandising, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Job Experience: Minimum of one year experience or education in Merchandising, Buying, or Design

Computer Experience: Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD.
