Should SOCA music be allowed on the REGGAE GOLD albums?

Im really disappointed with Reggae Gold 2014 and a lot of the recent Reggae Gold albums. Every reggae gold album in the past couple of years might put one soca song on the album. I just checked whats going to be on Reggae Gold 2014 and like half the entire album is soca! This means less room for reggae and dancehall. Isnt there another compilation album aka SOCA GOLD where they can put the latest soca hits on? On Soca Gold, its all soca no reggae. But yet reggae gold keeps diluting itself with soca. It drives me crazy.

I would go as far as to say even Dancehall shouldn't be on a Reggae Gold album

You serious? In an age when you can buy your music online and pick and choose which songs you want off an album, you allow yourself to be driven crazy over a soca song being on a reggae album. Who is this Georgeflash???

If they are going to include soca tunes on the reggae gold series VP should
include them as bonus tracks and identify the music as soca. Over the years
VP has held back on releasing some of the year's biggest singles on CD in
order to sell more copies of their Strictly The Best and Reggae Gold releases.
