Riddim help
Ok I've been trying to get the name of this riddim and find these songs.
A bit old. The songs were Mr Big Stuff, Bump and Grind, DJ School, Ms Short and Nuttin (i think). Most times these were mixed in with Stress/rapper dapper (think dais de pepper seed riddim) |

You are talking about the "sister big stuff" riddim, adapted from the soul/rnb tune by "Tomorrows Children". It was re-recorded by reggae band and used by mainly JOHN HOLT and DENNIS ALCAPONE.
There is also a version called "mr big stuff" used by for example Top Cat and Tenor Fly but to my knowledge it is the very same riddim. Youtube search for John Holt - Sister Big Stuff or Dennis Alcapone - Teach the children. Hope this is what you're looking for. :-) |
