Same here I just wish some of the old heads were here. We have a few of the newbies but most of them really don't want to venture into spirituality. I think being spiritual is very important and keep the body clean physically and mentally is great way to keep in tuned with your spirit. Still working on ways to keep on point but it's hard with all this running around on daily basis.

I met a friend at work that studies an Indian religion forgot the name of it. Anyway in his religion they work on EGO. EGO is the root of all evil to sum it all up. And he brought up some Valid points if one were to shed their ego away you wouldn't really get angry or feel hurt you would take things in as they are and just learn from the. to shed ones ego is a life long committment. I found the conversation rather interesting.

Well after he gets rid of his ego, let someone rape his wife or kill his daughter and we'll see how well his got rid of his anger or hurt. These emotions are natural based on life's events and trying to rid yourself of them are as impossible as trying tuh lick yuh elbow. Maybe knowing how to deal with emotions and not letting them dictate your actions might be a better solution.

I feel that is a great way of looking at it but I couldn't knock the mans point of view I can't shed my ego, but I can try and channel my energy to positive things.

So what spiritual changes you would like to take place for this year? What moves have you made to embark on this Metamorphosis?

Spending more time studying my Bible and doing more volunteer work. I give lots of money to charity, but I wanna get more personally involved. Don't know if those qualify as "spiritual" changes. How about yourself?

That is and I must say you've evolved from the first time we spoke. For me it's just to understand my religion more and to tap more into my spiritual self. I want to practice taking self out of self and back into self, I use to be so spiritual and I fine I've lost it and I would like to gain that back.

I've changed alot. I am not as rowdy and quick with the tongue as b4. There has been a big calm that has come over me. Maybe I've changed with age.

This year I just want to learn learn learn more about my depth of my faith and try to channel positive energy into my life

Well you have a good teacher with you so you should be good to go. I know he don't come from a slow spiritual home nor do you so the two of you put your mind together and pray you should be good to go.
