Peepers, athiests, agnostics, others come with an open mind. The lesson you receive from these places can nourish you and help you take a path and make better decisions. I did not go for a while but I heard what I needed to hear today. I can listen to people I don't like or others some of us have cast away because sometimes they do make sense. Come in and share what you learned, don't be shy. Of course some of you don't go because of all the money talk and hypocrites, etc but if you learn how to pick value/sense out of nonsense you can do well. If you are failing at many things or can't seem to make progress, maybe just maybe you can yield just for a day and get some good advice.

now that you have thought about those things; how have you incorporated any changes in your daily routine/life?

To me the messages remain the same these days not much of a deviation from the basic.....

Well I started discarding some things that I set aside in the hopes to use. If I realized I had no intention of using it after all this time, I threw it out.

Toxic behavior from any friends that was affecting my time that I can't take care of my duties when or how I want to do it or behavior that was affecting state of mind lead me to have conversations with them and I said I can't have this go on anymore or I need you to....

Things I have been putting off which caused mental clutter of things to do, I sacrificed to get it done.

For the most part I have made choices that improved my life. Still a work in progress but I accomplished a lot lately.

I am editing this to say I have been making some poor choices that have affected my life negatively like going too bed to late and getting involved in too many things.

Do you think it is the messenger or the church that keeps the message the same. Some churches do more than others. Some pastors link current events with the word of God. Others work on more than your spiritual growth.

Faith leaders are human themselves and subject to corruption, at the end of the day, we all dependent on the grace and mercy of the most high.

This is true. Out of the many churches can't one decent church or awesome church be found?

Someone I know went on a search for a church. She went to 4 then a 5th liked the 5th one. Now she is an active member.

One church told her that you are not allowed to wear pants, no jewelry. And something else.

Another church segregated the church based off of tithes.

Another church had gruff attendants.

Another church she visited she did not like very much.

The last one she tried was just right for her.

I have my views on church and some of the hypocrites but once the positives out weigh the negatives or none of the negatives makes me so upset that I can't come back I will stay with a church. I know myself and God knows me and my spirit and God moves me to action.

but what is considered a decent church though, a church that appeals to you? I mean this is reason why we have so many churches, some say the Catholic bible has too many books, another one say we should be more Jewish and not eat pork, I mean are these features even important in the greater question of faith?
