So tings heating up wid dem Orthodox fellas
As you know last week, de big rabbi in de Satmar group in Williamburg died leaving behind 2 sons and a large wealth of followers....
well little did you know that the police shut down roads so that they could take the body from Williamsburg to their other upstate community of Kiryas Joel for his burial.... well, the custom and laws and the will he left, have it that the eldest son will be come the new rebbe....de older one is based in Kiryas Joel and de younger one in Williamsburg. De politicians have to pander to both of course so no one is talking sides.... Things getting ugly too. A couple fellas got their legs broken last week. It looks like dey might split in 2 factions......money and power over tradition and respect..... |
