2... Do you believe in religion? No
3... What is your religion? no desire to "subscribe"
4... Why or why not? no one philosophy is absolute.

The word religion? Yes. Man's innate nature to look beyond ourselves? No.

Do you believe in religion why or why not?
Yes. It's in my nature as it is with everyone else (save for those who choose to ignore it), to look for an explanation for my existence, for this world's existence and the state that it's in. Science was unable to resolve that. Science's attempt to explain life became a religion devoid of spirituality. It just lead to more questions and even fewer answers.

What is your religion?
I believe that God created all that is. I believe that Christ is the Son of God, who came to make Himself a sacrifice, a show of enduring love for the fallen race of man. I believe that He will return to put an end to sin and death. I believe the Bible is His inspired Word, through which I've found answers sufficient for what I need to know.

i think you would have gotten some very different responses if you exchanged the words "spirituality" and "religion"

I see most of you do not believe in religion; however, you do belive in God & Jesus Chirst.
So Christians & Catholics, isnt your disbelief in religion going against the teachings of the God, Jesus, and the Bible? Do you believe in the Bible's teachings?
Muslims, isnt your disbelief in religion going against the teachings of the Koran & Elijah Mohammad?
and others (rush job, I am work, please bare with me)....isnt your disbelief in religion going against the teachings of the your God, and holy book? Do you believe in your holy book's teachings?

I think the question may have been better recieved if you asked who follows the christian religion. There are many religions out there. most of the people who responded may not follow one specific faith, however are well versed in many different beliefs.

now, back to your questions:

do you believe in God & Jesus Christ
Do you mean to ask me if Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior? Could you elaborate please?

Isnt that going against the teachings of the God, Jesus, and the Bible?
When saying "THAT" are you reffering to my lack of belief in ANY religion or christianity in general?

Do you believe in the Bible teachings?
There is much to be gleemed from the bible, however based on what you beleive, it's interpretation can be taken in any number of ways.

I agree...thats why there are so many types of religion due to everyones own interpretation of the Bible. Not only are there different knids of religion, but people are arguing about their views when some of them are reading from teh same book!

Read the post again...Thanks for the heads up. It was a rush job. I am @ work!

It think theres so many forms of Christianity because of how the Bible is interpreted.

As far as the reasoning why there's so many religons today,

there are so many people across the globe who have seperate experiences. Peoples interpretation of a higher order change from place to place, however its all the same thing. That's what people need to realize.

The bible and religion have nuttin to do with each other. Man has tried to make it that way but Gods words are no religion. He never dealt with religion.

jus to clarify some of what u mentioned, first off muslims also believe in all prophets including jesus, ebrahim, david etc..not only the PROPHET MUHAMMED,who was born in medina, im NOT talking about elijah muhammed who was the head of the nation islam during the 60's. Now im not quite sure what ur askin, or who your specifically addressing but I'm muslim and I do believe in religion and follow islamic law. I believe that if an individual does not believe in religion, its ovious they do not follow any religion . Im not quite sure why a person who practices a certain religion would have disbelief in religion itself, that would be contradicting. Now Im not judging anyone, im just stating my view.

at first u sound as if ur supporting an argument that religion does exist, but then you say god and religion are not associated??? I agree that such religious texts has been written over, as u can see in King james and that man has tried to subsitute themselves as a relation to god or using such sources to manipulate other believers. Understand that the original bible was the Torah, which many people are unaware of.
