I was under the impression that rastfarism was founded on the christian religion, but that's the thing I think this guy is saying.

If Christianity is an offset of Judasim, and Jewish people don't believe that Jesus Christ is there Lord and saviour, how does this connection and concept work out? Are Jewish people above the tennants of the Bible since they come before the Biblical following? Or if they aren't saved, they like everyone else dont have a seat in heaven?

Hmmm, I've actually fumbled with this in my head before lol. lemme see...Jewish ppl are for the most part ethnically Jewish, so they are Jews who follow the religion of Judaism. Their claim to heaven is that they are the chosen ppl, they were the favorites of God and had their covenant with him since the old testament. After Christ, some people who were ethnic Jews became Christians...so they are still Jewish even though they no longer subscribe to Judaism -their religion changed but not their ethnicity so they are still part of God’s chosen ppl Christ or no Christ. The ones that don't recognize Christ have nothing to worry about because God already promised them heaven before the coming of Christ so they also are God’s chosen ppl Christ or no Christ (unless God reneged). So that I think answers your question.

Now, the ppl that are not ethnic Jews and adopted Christianity much later are said to be saved because of Christ -hmmmm here is where it gets kinda sticky because these are not God's chosen people and God did not send Jesus to them, he sent him to the Jews. I'm no bible expert so maybe the answer is right there but how are those not descended from the Jews so sure that any of this salvation is for them?

and now mind you, this is confusing, but it gets even mor econfusing becuase there are those who beleive that the Jews that we knoe of aren't the descendants of the "chosen" tribe of people who made to convenant with God.
