Was it necessary for Him to ....

For those of us who believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour, I have the following questions.

In our studies we know that He would come and that He would die. Because of His sacrifice we have a way to approach the Father, the means to be assured forgiveness, a way to be free from sin and death. But why death?

Why did our Saviour have to die?
What does this mean to you personally?

The answer to your question is simple....It is the way God structured life after sin became...in the Old Testament times...you would have to offer a life for the sin you just committed(a life 4 a life(an EYE 4 An EYE)and the blood was suppose to cleanse you from that sin.Well thats what Jesus was...remember it is written that he didn't come to change, but that the written word would be fulfilled. So he became the ultimate both Sacrifice and Offering...he was the lLamb to the slaughter and his blood is what gives redemption of Sin[

Death is just the natural wages of sin. Sin cannot abide in the presence of God, hence if we sin, death naturally will occur.
Now I'm sure if there was another way for Jesus to save us, he would've but he HAD to come an die to prove that his LAW which is a transript of himself can not change. If his Law could be change then Jesus wouldn't have had to come and die. Jesus came to prove that His law could be kept. He came an overcame where Adam failed. He had to live a perfect life so his death could be a substitute for ours. This means a lot cause last time ah check Wal-Mart wasn't sellin fire proof skin. But seriously though, because of His sacrifice I/we all now have hope

Let me add this to the mix. Imagine that you're an angel, looking at your Lord hanging on the cross. What do you suppose would be going through your mind?

You know it couldn't be easy...

As for God...sin is a deplorable thing in His sight...but He is firm...and He does not lie...He stated that the wages of sin is death...I thank God every day for Jesus...He died so that I might live! That's why we're not to grieve like those who have no hope...

This was a part of the Sabbath School lesson week before last. I thought about it and then came up with this thought:

"Is this what Lucifer's way is like?!? What did my Lord ever do for that snake to want this for our Master?"

The wages of sin is death, we can rest assured. Anything outside of God's will is sin. Sin leads to chaos, and if we're left to serve our own interests, sin will lead to anarchy and self-annihilation. Thank God, because His point is proven, we can make our way Home.

I witness it every time I try to do my own thing, and go my own way...The stupid crap that this world provides is nothing compared to what's waiting for me...so I choose His way...'cause it really is the best!
