is one of the defining parameters of the devil that he always fails?
the implications of the scenario described are staggering. this whole myth world of the bible makes less and less sense every day. in what ways? well the devil as a plausible character doesnt make sense. why would he try, doomed to fail? Why doesnt he seek gods forgiveness? Is every soul lost to hell a failure of god and a victory of the devil? How then, could ANY souls be lost to hell! The universalists must be right after all! everyone is saved! if the devil always fails, we have nothing to worry about. if he doesnt always fail, why is god letting him mess with us to the point of dooming us to hell? in any case HOW CAN IT BE THAT THE MASTER PLAN OF ALL TIME AND EXISTENCE INCLUDES ETERNAL SUFFERING AND TORMENT? |
