they do not deny the feminine aspect of god

they are open minded about eastern or african ideas about cosmology, meditation, or yoga

they do not believe in the traditional heaven or hell

they do not believe in an ultimate duality between god and some opposite being such as a devil... even the mightiest fallen angel or demon pales in comparison to the power of the god/goddess

they depict jesus as black

even fallen angels and demons are not beyond repentance and reclamation


once again i feel blessed or enlightened and my spirit feels greatful when I listen to the music of obatala or yemaya, papa legba or krishna, once again I can openly pray to demeter, hermes or auset. I sense the mystery of the human experience and its interpretation of hte unkown when I look at paintings of kali and shiva, and I dont feel sinful or devlish...

I dont feel like Im betraying my morals when asking jesus for enlightenment

I feel a sense of the divine again

I am able to calm my thoughts

everything is calm, balanced, peaceful and reasonable with my place in the divine universe again

those ancient "european church style" depictions of rastafari and empress mennen dont seem so silly anymore!

oh yeah, I forgot to mention, they take terms like U n I verse SERIOUSLY


this is just one step closer to that mushroom and yerba mate session with the RZA that I dream about.
