Do you play any music in the background when you pray?
In the past I've played,"Thank you lord" by Bob...something about that song

"Kingly character" by Garnett Silk

and I forgot the last one...I ran it on a loop, on my old computer...now I play no music...but lookin for inspiration...

there is something to music and praying...

the old Gregorian chants, the Buddhist chants.....the Psalms are songs (hymns), and so are the Vedas.
the Catholic church "created" a High Mass, where the entire liturgy is sung.

personally I dont; I meditate in complete silence. However there are songs which I lose myself in...
The garnett silk song (reciting the Psalms) on the Kumina is one of them
