This speaks to the splendor of the mindset of ancient humanity, despite Modern, Western, European Man's best attempts to callously and erroneous label this as "primitive, backwards, savage", etc.
The irony manifests, when the reality is fathomed, that it is in fact Modern/Western Man that fits these descriptions.
In fact, this very point serves as the perfect segue for the realization that it is this backwards, counter-intuitive mode of thinking that has been forced upon us, replacing that which served as the harmonizing factor that not only balanced our physical world, but also the Axis of the Cosmos that dwells far beyond all basic comprehension.
This epitome of harmony has been brutally usurped and supplanted with the counter-intuitive notion that manifests within the narrow(-minded), marginal ideal of Monotheism vs Polytheism, a dichotomy that, by design, simply cannot allow for any notions that are too large, extensive, or even profound, to fit within it.
Such is the mindset of the Western/European man, and legacy of ideas that he has laid before us; too small is his mind to grasp the unfathomable, and thus the unfathomable leaves him no choice, rather than to thrive as a concept of its own, must instead be labeled, and eventually destroyed.
The labels he creates for such elusive (for him) ideas, are the likes of "Pagan, Heathen, evil, etc". With his myopic view, he feels that he is left with no choice but to view any such concept as "worship", when in reality, the Ancient peoples had no such concept--certainly nothing matching the in the modern sense.
Further, we find him so sorely lacking in intuitive mental processing, that he cannot see how many of the concepts of and for Divinity that he has managed to become so fond of (crude and primitive though they may be), are the very ones that he had received from those very ancient nations that he had encroached upon, and subjugated.
We find that his 3 greatest mythologies: Norse, Greek and Roman (all 3 being mere variations along the same theme), are loosely based on cosmologies that he had stolen from the native peoples he had encountered and sought to conquer and destroy.
We find ZEUS (GREEK), ODIN (NORSE), and JUPITER (ROMAN) occupying the same pseudo-cosmological positions within these respective mythologies. However, these deities are not indigenous to their respective lands, as they were in actuality, names for perverted concepts that these war-mongering peoples had assimilated into their own mode of thinking.
It is without coincidence, that nearly all deities in the various European mythologies, are war-like, mischievous, jealous, cunning, lustful, murderous, etc in nature--not unlike the very peoples that venerated them.
That is because, based on the premise of mythology, man objectifies himself, his ideas, his passions, and his outlook through the very deities that he manifests in theses various systems.
The White man sees no glimmer of harmony, peace, understanding, balance, etc in the world, and instead he sees only things that should be catalogued; if they cannot be catalogued, then they must be conquered; if the cannot be conquered, then they must be destroyed.
While the White man's best "God" is atrocious, vile, uncouth, belligerent etc. (reference the personas of Odin and Zeus), this is altogether different from any Spiritual system that ancient native peoples had created; many of the so-called deities represented peace, harmony, Wisdom, wonderment, etc. Our worst "Gods" are his best, and our best "Gods" have no presence, nor relevance for him.
This did not set well with the Invader, and as such, he sought to assimilate those aspects.
This is precisely what occurred, in regards to the contact being made with Ancient peoples in India (and parts surrounding), with the Aryans, and with the ancient peoples in Africa (and parts surrounding), with the Semites/Eurasians.
Even though much of Hinduism maintains its semblance with its ancient self, it is nevertheless an unbefitting amalgam of Aryan thought, with Dravidian philosophy.
Similarly, we find so-called deities, the likes of YAHWEH, EL, ALLAH, AMEN, etc from Canaanite, Himyarian, and Kemetic theologies respectively, now incorporated, albeit in a totally different form, into the Abrahamic hybrid religions that manifested as a result of such an assimilation.
With these amalgams, we see brutal and insensitive justifications, not only for the onsets of these merged ideologies, but also for how they have played a part in the shaping of the world at present.
Instead of merely being the system of Cosmology and Esoterum that it once was, we find that "The Gods" (and other mechanical aspects of the theology; "karma", etc) are now used to justify the poor, subversive position that the original inhabitants of the Indus Kush Valley now find themselves in.
With the Abrahamic hybrids, we find that "GOD" (the same deities that had just previously, belonged to other systems, far be it that they merely appeared out of nowhere) has deemed these Semites/Eurasians (and by default, their descendants), of being "chosen", which in turn condones their most heinous socio-political behaviors, both then, now, and all historical points in between.
In the meantime, those original systems from the African and Indus Kush valleys, from which these new hybrid systems were forcibly amalgamated, had become labeled, discredited and outlawed immediately thereafter, by the very same system(s) that they spawned.
Thus, we find the Virgin Birth and Resurrection story being told authoritatively in Judeo-Christian thought, whilst the same story, told in parabolic form from far more ancient societies such as Kemet and further east with the Zoroastrians, is reduced to mere folklore and superstition.
Further, our entire perception is altered and adjusted, based upon these neologismic ideas; ancient peoples created calendric and temporal measuring systems, all based upon their spiritual perception, however, because of the alleged "Coming of Christ", all time has supposedly stopped an reset itself to 1-Anno Domini ("The Year of Our Lord"), and we are now subjected to a new calendar system, that is not only incomplete and redundant ("leap year" is a faulty system), but also counter-intuitive ("Septos" means 7; "Octos" means 8; "Novos" means 9; and "Deca" means 10......So why is September the 9th month, October the 10th month, November the 11th month, and December the 12th month?).
These are but a mere few examples of faulty reasoning that has been spawned of Western Religious and Philosophical thought. This "reasoning", being the pinnacle of contradition, hypocrisy, and utter foolishness, has brought nothing but disharmony at best, and destruction at worst, to the world as a whole, past and present.
Even now, as the world attempts in desperation to cling to these outmoded, primitive and wholly inappropriate ideologies, with a bloody, slippery grip, they cannot help but see the sheer folly of even doing so. Perhaps the world continues to hold fast to these improper notions, because they see no other means to salvation? And perhaps they see no other means, because the current inheritors of the world have buried all other alternatives so deeply under prejudiced academics, and biased philosophy, that any viable alternative is nearly impossible to see with the naked eye?
Nearly all cultures, both ancient and modern, native and even western readily recognize some version of the saying: "those that forget the past, are doomed to repeat it".
Some ancient cultures even make the Cosmonogical assertion that the world has been destroyed more than once already.....If such was the case, then if we cannot see the folly of our Spiritual and philosophical erring ways, then destruction will most assuredly be the path that we are headed towards.
