USA vs. ARGENTINA Basketball

Anybody watching? Closest US game I seen so far. 9 point lead by USA, which really should have been a 6 point game. All of this while Ginobli in locker room for 2nd quarter.

Regardless..this is a good game to watch.

Coach K is gonna make the adjustments. Give Argentina credit they were being blown out and got it together in a hurry.

Actually US vs. Australia was a closer game for most of that first half, the US was never really up big.

today, early out it was a complete blowout, 30-9 at one point; 30-11 at the end of the 1st quarter. then in the 2nd quarter, the US couldn't figure out Argentina's zone, and they trimmed 10 points off the lead.

Ginobili....is like he love hurt heself these days. Replay of Lakers vs Spurs this year.

Popovich probably vex.. he never wanted Ginobli to go to Beijing in the first place.

You know, it just hit me why Argentina came back in the 2nd quarter. The past couple of games, the 2nd string USA haven't been doing much at all. Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade & co. have been pretty ineffective.

yup....3rd quarter, starters vs starters, and the lead goes right back up again.
this time the 2nd wave does a better job of keeping the lead.

edit: slightly better. those 6 straight points to end the quarter, not too good.

wade was in foul trouble . coach k adjusted poorly had lebron sitting the last 5 mins of the second. Kobe took 4 bad shots in a row but as i been saying lebron scores 8 in a row and the lead goes back him . Carmelo is sooo fuccking immature but nailed free throws. They wont sleep like this again it was a good thing.

it was his best game but he truly ain do anything different than the other games other that his shots not falling. He played well but the defense kick that people are on about his is retarded, the best player he had to guard was manu and he ain even play look at the other teams their 3rd and 4th best players wasnt even the guy kobe guarded.

Germany - Dirk and Kaman
Aussie - Bogut
Spain - Gasol - I might give him credit for calderon but kidd guarded him
China - Yi and Yao

which one of thos top intl players he had to guard?

lol look at what's in common wit the names u posted: all NBA'ers, all big men. as if yuh sayin there isn't a single quality international guard out there. it have quality players outside the nba yuh know.

the nba does *not* have a complete lock on every top player in the world. off the top of my head there are a couple on the greece team that went off against some other teams. and spain got more than just calderon.

buh it doh make sense going endless back n forth on it....if yuh feel kobe can't defend like lebron, then hey, more powers to ya. coach K doh seem to agree doh.
