If someone didn't see the race, and just watched the celebrations, one might've though Thompson won the race, The man did a jump, skip, scream, flip, roll, toss, turn, wine, wukkup, stoop, levitate, breakdance, wave, cry, laugh, tink me all see him buss a Dutty Wine.
The man was EXCITED, and i don't blame him one bit. Congrats to Richard Thompson. It did wicked to see 6 out of the 8 runners coming from the Caribbean....and even better to see 2 of them pick up medals. |

Richard Thompson (born 7 June 1985) is a sprinter from Cascade, Trinidad and Tobago who specializes in the 100 metres and has been running for Louisiana State University as a member of the LSU Tigers track and field team.
In his first World Championships in Osaka in 2007, Thompson reached the semi- finals but finished 8th in a time of 10.44 seconds. His personal best time is 9.89 seconds, achieved in August 2008 in Beijing, China, during the Olympic 100m final where he won silver. [1] Thompson's personal best for 200m is 20.18 seconds ran in Fayetteville for LSU. His 60m PB is 6.51 seconds, achieved in March 2008 in Fayetteville. |
