They didn't release him...they traded him. "All they got was the 29th pick" means that they'll be picking twice in the first rounds this year...a stocked draft, versus seeing him walk away at the end of the year with nothing to show for it...b/c he wasn't coming back to them. |

you sound like you work for those fackers and just tryin to save face.......... selfish, trouble or whatever else dey want to say about him, he is a great player. a play maker on defence. a pass rusher like him is hard to find these days. and the jets got what dey deserve...facked.....falcons also holds the 15th pick in the first round why didnt the jets go after gettin that ? and now they going to use that along with the #4 pick to get matt leinart who by the way has a questionable knee injury. great job these new assholes r doing. |

i agree the jets should have gotten more, but how much more can you expect, maybe a late round pick? if i were the jets i would prob trade down a few spots get some more picks, there is alot of talent, even if they stay at 4 they are guarteed to get 1 of the 3 QB's
