Incredibly, Another 50 Point Prediction From Gilbert Arenas

You would think that after the disastrous results of his latest prediction that Gilbert would have learned to contain his enthusiasm by now. Maybe he felt the need to get the Wizards back to being the fun-loving party team that they used to be, but honestly I was pretty surprised to hear about this.

Gilbert has once again predicted a 50 point performance, and once again he's saying he'll do it against the Blazers. Hey, why not, he was only 41 points short last time right? CSTV caught Gilbert in the gym on his off night, and here's what he told them:
  • "I knew after I said that that they'd double (team) me, so I came out not too aggressive and got my teammates involved. It was part of my plan. But when we go up to their place, they won't be expecting it, and they won't double me. That's when I'm really planning on dropping 50."

• Over the weekend, a Washington D.C.-based media outlet, CSTV, quoted Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas as saying that LeBron James doesn't want to take end-of-game pressure shots.

"The guy LeBron needs is Sam Cassell. He needs someone who wants to take the big shots at the end of the game,'' Arenas was quoted as saying. "LeBron would much rather have Cassell take the final shot... people don't realize that LeBron doesn't want it.''

And the perfect response from LeBron James himself?

"I made two game-winners in the playoffs against him and knocked him out of the playoffs. I don't understand where he gets that from, that doesn't make sense to me.''
