I read on another site that Thompson only arrived in Rome yesterday due to some flight hiccups and was suffering from jetlag. He felt flat during the final but is certainly looking forward to Paris next week!

Tobago youngster Rene Quow finished third in the 400m..Hopefully he can bring home a medal to T&T at this world championships..He was a finalist at last year Olympics at the age of 20..
