The Kite Runner
I was fortunate enough to see this movie last night. The official release date is (limited release anyway) December 14. Having finished the book that it's based on in something like 4 days, I was a little worried that the film would be bad - as many book adaptions suffer that fate. I am VERY pleased to announce that the movie was anything but bad. Though they changed and left some parts of the story out it still worked. Some of the scenes were as difficult to watch as they were difficult to read.
This movie undoubtedly gets the SeReNDiPiTy seal of approval!  Go see it! FYI...I don't know if it's exactly kid friendly unless you have talk with them before hand. |
