OK HOLLYWOOD NEED TO RE DUB THEIR MOVIE SKILLS WITH THE JAPS HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE CGI GAME ON AN EPIC LEVEL FOR SOME TIME NOW THESE ARE A FEW TRAILERS OF MOVES MADE FROM ANIME AND MANGA PERSPECTIVES AND ALSO ANIME MOVIES AND SIRES MADE INTO LIVE ACTION FILMS..
For more info, head to the official website for the film: goemonmovie.com Goemon is both written and directed by Japanese filmmaker Kazuaki Kiriya, of only Casshern previously. The screenplay was co-written by Kiriya and Tetsurô Takita. The film hits theaters in Japan this upcoming May, but no word on when we'll see it in the US just yet. Apparently Warner Brothers is releasing this in theaters over here as well, so I expect we'll hear more about it sometime soon. I really hope this debuts at Cannes this year as well, as I'm dying to see it and will be there! In the meantime, check out their website. One of the first to arrive is Blood: The Last Vampire, an adaptation of anime from 2000 about a vampire who hunts demons with some samurai swords. I know what everyone's initial reaction to this is right now - but save it, you need to watch this trailer first. If you're not more impressed than you were before watching it, then you're more than welcome to say whatever you want, but I'm certain most of you might actually think this looks pretty good. That is, only if you like sword fighting and demon hunting! Thanks to reader Christopher M. for sending this over, or else we might've missed some awesome sword fighting goodness! I just hope it actually turns out as good as it looks in this trailer, because that's rare. Watch the international trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire: Embed this video on your website? Copy this code: A vampire named Saya, who is part of covert government agency that hunts and destroys demons in a post-WWII Japan, is inserted in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon. Blood: The Last Vampire is directed by French filmmaker Chris Nahon, of Kiss of the Dragon and Empire of the Wolves previously. The adaptation was written by Chris Chow and the screenplay was written by Kenji Kamiyama (original Blood: The Last Vampire anime, Ghost in the Shell) and Ronny Yu (The Bride with White Hair, The Phantom Lover). Blood: The Last Vampire was originally an anime first released in 2000. Universal is distributing this in the US, although they have not announced a release date just yet. SOME CREEPY COOL LOOKING THING ![]() Funky Trailer for Big Man Japan You can also watch the Big Man Japan trailer in High Definition on Apple An eccentric 40 year old man lives alone in a decrepit house in Tokyo. He periodically transforms into a giant and defends Japan by battling similarly sized monsters that turn up and destroy buildings. Big Man Japan is both co-written and directed by Hitoshi Matsumoto, who made his directorial debut with this film. The screenplay was co-written by Matsumoto and Mitsuyoshi Takasu. This first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2007 and was eventually picked up by Magnet Releasing as part of the Six Shooter Film Series. Big Man Japan will arrive in limited theaters starting on May 15th this summer.
