thinking about growing dreads
well i've had very short texturized hair for some time now and i fed up of it. i wanna start growing out my hair but it's too short right now for braids so it's like a lil nappy afro. i tried this growing out thing soo many times but when my hair get to this in between untidy phase i usually run to the barber and cut it all off. i really wanna hold out this time...any suggestions for keeping my hair neat while i'm growing it out?

why not get it braided if it's long enough to do so?

Not too familiar with the maintenance of natural hair but how about doing gel twists? I believe they last for a couple weeks and they may give you a good idea of what your hair will look like in locks. Good luck with whatevery you decide.
