PhytoSpecific Relaxer - The Results
So I used the relaxer back at the beginning of Feb. And I love it. It did not burn (and my scalp loves me for it). It got my hair really straight. And breakage and shedding seems to have been reduced.
It is gentle but does the job. It looked like I had new hair. I even have my stylist looking into ordering it for her salon. It is pricy but I would say it is definitely worth it. |

I've been using this relaxer for over year and it is wonderful! I use to burn and have a lot of breakage, but from the first time I used this relaxer I had no problems. It gets my hair straight also. I just relaxed my hair and I hadn't relaxed it since September! This is the best relaxer! I don't know where anyone lives, but I go to a salon in Yonkers,NY, Shesocko and that's the only relaxer they use. I use regular strength and I love it!

How much do you pay? Where I go it only cost $45 for the relaxer.

I live in Boston. I buy the relaxer off Sephora. 60 bucks gets me two touch ups. And my hair dresser charges me the price of a wash and set. |

The name of the salon is Shesocko and its in Yonkers, NY--not too far outside the West Bronx, I just checked the website for prices and I was wrong. They charge $50 for a touch up and $75 for virgin relaxer and the PhytoSpecific Relaxer is the only brand they use. I've noticed that the kit is $60, so its cheaper for me to have it done professionally.

That's good price for those who do their own hair. I get a rinse and relaxer for about $40 (the owner is family), so it don't make sense I do it myself. I only when I need a touchup or once a month for a deep conditioning otherwise I wash my own hair. But I agree this is one of the best relaxers out there and I have tried a lot of different brands.
