Question need a little help

The people with daughters. What hair products (grease, shampoo, conditioners) do you use in their hair? DO you think the products made just for the kids are really worth the money. I have a 2year old and her hair is short, so I'm trying to get it to start growing out but I don't know what products are good and not to harsh for her. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

well i don;t have any kids ..but really and truly in my experience..there are no products that make ur hair grow..it has to do more with ur eating habits and genetics.make sure she is getting enough vitamin E and use oils in her scalps as opposed to greases which contain petroleum or mineral oil or wax. these can block pores in the scalp and hinder hair growth

carols daughter products are great

I have a little girl and to be honest I stick to the old fashion remedies....For grease I use "Dax"...(they have it for all different hair textures) As for shampoo and conditioner...I stick to "African Pride". The products that they bring out just for kids (except the perms) are a waste of money in my opinion.

for my niece and nephew both my sisters use a product from Carols Daughter called Hair Milk
both my neice and nephew has a good amount of hair on their heads but dats more from genetics cuz we got lengthy hair in my family so i dont know how it works for growing hair but i do know it makes natural hair manageable

Thanks everyone for the info. I'll look into the products you recommended and also the vitamins. My daughter has the length, but it is mostly on the top. The sides and back are trying to catch up but it's not doing it as fast as I would like it to. Like Roz said maybe the old time products are just as good. Because when you think about it these Just For Me products were'nt out when I was a child and my hair did quite well.
