Just make sure to clean it everyday and yes you should leave that first ring on for at least three months.

I don't know about her but when I got it done about a year ago, It didn't. I'm scared of needles so I was asking the guy so much questioned before he started, everything he pulled out, I want to know where it going and what was the purpose. A about 20 minutes after it's done, you feel a little pain.

No- it didn't hurt, just a little pinch (just like they promised!) But the guy who did my piercing was very nice so that helped. While I was lying down getting pierced there was a picture of a piggy with all these piercing in it on the ceiling so that kept me busy for the while .

But, yeah, like bebe said, about 20 minutes after you feel a little throbbing but it's not painful or it's just a small, slightly uncomfortable feeling.

Yeah, my friend said it took her belly button piercing a whole year to heal, what de ass is dat?? but I thought it would be cute to get one, that's why I did it. I just hope I can maintain it.

The piercer guy said after 3-6 months I can change the ring, but that doesn't make any sense- if it takes 1 year to heal I would be disrupting the healing porcess by changing the ring after only 3 months, ent?

Your navel may heal within that time frame. Ater 3 months go back to the piercing parlor and they will let you know if you need more time.

My friend's healed within 2 months. I am so jealous!

I had a slight discomfort during the procedure; They kept pulling and pulling and couldnt get it to come out the other end....... ..

It took me almost 8-9 months for the healing process to finish.....it depends on ho sensitive your skin is, i think

I would suggest that you use a sea salt wash. Just basically, get a gallon water fill it up and add two tea spoons of sea salt, which you can buy from the grocery store. Just use a little bit twice a day. Warm it a little and just hold it against the ring.

My ring is still healing. I got it about 3 months ago. Hopefully you got a barbell. Those are much easier to manage. I actually did change my ring before it healed completely, but went back to a piercing place to get it done.

I got mine done a few years ago. It took so much longer than 3 months to heal and I was using the damn sea salt to wash it! What really made it heal up quick was when i went to Anguilla 2 trips to deh beach an I was goodtogo!
